If you want to get that something special for a newborn then try searching online for baby gifts. If your friend or family members are expecting a baby it’s nice to be able to give something which will last a lifetime.
Have you considered the idea of setting up a trust fund for the new baby, this may be better than any other gift? Why not give a card with a promise to baby sit at least once a month so mum and dad can go out?
